Dear
Friends,
Wolverine
Human Services is one of Michigan's largest agencies rehabilitating
delinquent youths. It assumes many diverse roles including
direct care, research training, community education and
advocacy for the needs of those whom we serve.
Since
1987, I have overseen the development and operations of
Wolverine Human Services. Our facilities have experienced
phenomenal growth and our programs reach an increasing number
of youth and their families each year.
In 2006,
Wolverine Human Services reported a 90.1% success rate (determined
by the number of youth that complete those programs they
enter).
Our
mission is to offer the most appropriate settings and most
effective services to children, their families and their
communities. Our purpose is to take part in a mutual effort,
assisting those in need to overcome social and economic
barriers, to capitalize on their personal strengths and
to contribute to their own healing. Wolverine Human Services
main goal is "Helping Children To Become Victors!"
I am
proud of the dedication of all the 650+ qualified and caring
staff members of Wolverine Human Services. Without their
input and support, our programs could not reach the level
of success that we have achieved.
Most
of all, I am proud of the youth who have completed our programs
and established successful lives for themselves. Seeing
an individual turn his or her life around with the support
of our programs solidifies my confidence in the importance
of offering the types of services that an organization like
Wolverine Human Services provides.
Wolverine
Human Services will continue to follow the seven principles
of Reality, Responsibility,
Respect, Communication,
Negotiation, Education
and Love to achieve our goal of helping
children to see themselves as loved, valuable and worthwhile
individuals.
I extend
my sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who has supported
Wolverine Human Services in the past and welcome your continued
support as we expand and strengthen our programs in the
years to come.
God
Bless You,
Robert
